South Chiltern Choral Society is a long established choir based in Sonning Common and performs three concerts a year in various locations within Berkshire and South Oxfordshire. Our repertoire is varied; classical, traditional, easy listening, jazz and contemporary, and gives both singers and audience a chance to experience the full range of music. You can see a record of everything we have sung in the last 60 years in our archive page!

Are on Monday nights at Chiltern Edge School in Sonning Common, from 7.30pm until 9.40pm, during term time. We currently have a few places for gentlemen, so we will be especially pleased to hear from you. However we still invite all interested singers to contact our membership secretary to express interest in joining. You can come to a few rehearsals to see if you like the choir, and if so, we can enrol you as a member as soon as membership of your section has spaces. This can happen quite quickly so don’t despair!
Our fees are not much more than a cup of coffee for a great evening’s singing. In 2016-2017, our fees will be just £100 a year, and we do offer concessions. It’s a fantastic way to escape the cares of the day: a couple of hours on a Monday evening to do something completely different, with others who share your passion for music.
